Research and Innovation

Promoting research with a perspective based on the principle that recognizes research and education as inseparable entities, BILGI supports research activities with an interdisciplinary approach, addressing the acute problems that Turkey and the world are facing. Today, BILGI’s research enterprise, which has 20 research centers and three institutes, aims to encourage the interaction between policymakers, civil society actors and the international community.

Entering into an important strategic affiliation with ASU in research and innovation, BILGI aims to contribute to social progress through co-development of use-inspired research and business solutions, powered by Arizona State University’s leadership in the world in research and innovation. In this way, BILGI realizes its new vision of being a university of international impact with a perspective based on application and solution generation.

ASU is one of the fastest-growing research enterprises in the U.S.A. According to a report by the National Academy of Inventors and Intellectual Property Owners Association, ASU is ranked among the world’s top 10 universities for U.S. patents awarded, along with MIT, Stanford and Harvard.
